Dr. Koz explains that the thyroid gland makes T4 and that T4 is converted to T3 and shares that T3 is the hormone that binds to cells all over your body. (16:00) 

Dr. Gladden mentions that the only way to deal with some issues is to do genetic testing. (18:19)
